Privacy Policy
Tabbed: Journeyman Electrician · Effective October 8, 2026
The short version: Tabbed doesn't collect any data about you. There's no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and the app makes no network connections of its own. Everything it stores stays on your iPhone.
What the app stores on your iPhone
- Your study progress: the questions you've answered, your results, your readiness estimate and topics due for review.
- Practice exams in progress, so you can resume after closing the app.
- Your settings, such as which exam you're preparing for and drill options.
- Question reports you write with "Report a problem", until you choose to send them.
This data never leaves your device through the app. We can't see it. Deleting the app deletes it.
Purchases
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells the app which Exam Pass you own so it can unlock it. We don't receive your name, Apple ID, email address or payment details. Apple's privacy policy covers the purchase itself.
If you contact us or send a question report
Question reports stay on your phone unless you choose to share them. If you email a report or a support question, we receive what you send: your email address, your message, and for reports the question ID, code edition, the reason you picked, your note, the app version and the date. We use it only to answer you and to fix questions. We don't sell or share it, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
Children
Tabbed is a study aid for adults preparing for an electrician licensing exam. It isn't directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If the app ever starts collecting data, this policy and the App Store privacy label will say so before that version ships.
